« L'Oeuf de Pompidou » traite d'une architecture utopique jamais réalisée : un grand oe?f de cent mètres de haut au centre de Paris. Imaginé par l'architecte André Bruyère en 1971, ce bâtiment aurait pu être construit s'il avait gagné le concours international.
Plus généralement, le film essaie d'explorer un environnement urbain changé, l'influence directe et indirecte de la ville sur ses utilisateurs et leur façon de la vivre.

" The Egg of Pompidou " deals with a utopian architecture never carried out: an egg-shaped building in the center of Paris, a one hundred meters high. Imagined by the architect André Bruyère in 1971, this building could have been built if it had won the international architecture competition....
More generally, the film tries to explore a changed urban environment and the direct and indirect influence of the city on its users and their way of living it.
